The Maldives Association for Energy Efficiency (MAEE), the first NGO in the Maldives dedicated exclusively to promoting energy efficiency, has appointed its first Executive Committee in accordance with MAEE’s Articles of Association.
MAEE’s Founders, Mohamed Inaz and Fathimath Raufa Moosa, were appointed as Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director respectively. Hashma Hameed was appointed as Director of Finance, and Aminath Ahlaam was appointed as Director of Communication. The Executive Committee will serve a four-year term.
The Executive Committee is mandated to oversee the administration of the Association and guide its programmes and projects in line with MAEE’s objectives. These objectives include promoting appliance and building efficiency, supporting clean energy adoption, and advancing practical mitigation measures across the Maldives.
